LÚNASA FUNDRAISER CONCERT &
SHOWCASE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON, AUGUST
2ND, 2009
at the historic Aztec Hotel in Monrovia, CA
For the Celts, the month of 'Lúnasa' (Gaelic for
"August") has always been a time for getting together to
have fun and celebrate. In that same spirit, the Celtic
Arts Center will be holding a fundraiser concert and
showcase event all afternoon on Sunday, August 2nd. The
event will be held at the theatre of the historic Aztec
Hotel in Monrovia, CA. The hotel has donated the space
for the afternoon and we
plan to have performances of music, song and dance
throughout the day to entertain people of all ages. All
money raised from ticket sales will added the Center's
relocation fund.
Admission to the entire day of performances will be
$10/person.
All money raised from ticket sales and the raffle will
be added to the Celtic Arts Center's relocation fund.
Refreshments will be available for purchase from the
hotel's restaurant and lounge.

our 6th Annual Celtic Concert at the John Anson Ford
Amphitheatre in Hollywood! This year's show will be on

and will feature The McKassons, Highland Way,
and Slugger O'Toole along with performances from the Los
Angeles Police Emerald Society Pipes & Drums
Band and local Irish step dancers.

MCKASSONS: We are pleased to announce a very special event
on Saturday, September 19, the night before the 6th annual
Celtic Arts Center Concert at the John Anson Ford
Amphitheatre. This will be a dinner, followed by a full two
hour concert with Ken O'Malley and The McKassons, then a
Céilí afterward at a lovely private home in South Pasadena.
Tickets to the event are $55 -- but we will add a Ford

substantial expense, particularly airfare, to rehearse their
Ford show and to perform at the event itself. All proceeds
from this private event will go directly to the artists.
